About Us

Growing up as a competitive dancer, you're given the chance to wear an abundance of incredible costumes to assist in executing your dance to it's fullest potential on the stage. However, most of these costumes are only worn for one season which means only for a few performances per year. After that, they're tossed in a bin or a closet in the basement to not be seen or used for years onwards as you get more and more new costumes every season. 

Coming together with other dancers around me, we realized that we had so many beautiful dance costumes in mint condition that were just lying around in storage, waiting to see the stage again. Reimagine Costume Resale's goal is to create one platform for dancers throughout the country to connect and re-sell their previously used dance costumes for other dancers to enjoy and make their own. My first ever dance costume circa 2007. The theme was pink panther, and yes I still have it in my house. For sentimental and other reasons you could probably assume, no it will not be for sale ;)
